Please email consortium@dogagingproject.org to allow DAP Consortium authors 5-7 days to provide substantive feedback. This email address distributes to all current consortium members. Because the DAP Consortium is quite large, we encourage the use of Google Docs for sharing your manuscript.
The DAP Consortium is the list of project team members who have made substantial contributions to the project over time and therefore are typically included as named authors (as "Dog Aging Project") on almost all publications that use Dog Aging Project data and that include Dog Aging Project team members.
The DAP Consortium includes a standing list of members. However, remember that you can add DAP team members to the Consortium for specific manuscripts, as appropriate. You might ask yourself: Is there someone who contributed meaningfully to this manuscript from the DAP team, but who is not a named author and should be added to the Consortium for your manuscript? Consider those who collected or analyzed samples, those who obtained information directly from participants, those who provided statistical support, and other key functions. If so, you may add them to the list of Consortium authors that is submitted with the manuscript. You would also want to ask them to review the manuscript before submission, to comply with authorship conventions.
